No way they turned it down as I know first hand they have been working on aquiring it and still will.

I understand there was a meeting today with several facility owners and was not going to be feasible to put it back together, hope someone rethinks it, but what a huge undertaking, takes a ton of people and work.

Which paper? Can you post a link? Nothing in the lakesunleader about it. If the Toad worked for the OSS races I cannot see why it wouldn't work for the Shootout. That is the most logical place for this event to move to. I cannot see it going away. Way too important to the local economy.

Oh man, what a bummer!!
A buddy of mine bought a condo on the lake and keeps begging me to visit, so I was actually talking about finally making it to LOTO next year for the shootout.

That event's been like a fixture on that lake for many years; someone's got to step up and see to it that it continues.

Agreed.

I don't know what I'll do with myself that weekend.

did you see your picture in last months Boats for
sale magazine at the lake ?

They had all the class winners pictures in it.
