That thing is SICK. Those NXT drives on a tight stagger looked killer! The detail in that boat is awesome. Really nice job by Cig.

The boat looks great Steve! I can't wait for a ride :D

Does anyone have any pictures of the 42-X next to the OSO boat in post #1? That's my buddy's new ride.

TexomaPowerboater 11-14-2007 08:32 AM

Sweet boat.

OSO 11-14-2007 08:47 AM

Thank you all.

I must say Cigarette did an excellent job with the bling factor on this boat.

Up until the night before the Poker Run Cigarette was still wrenching on the boat trying to make everything perfect. The biggest challenge was dialing in the new Mercury Color Vessel View on the passenger side of the boat.

The engine hatch up issue at Boca Grande was a small adjustment of the throttle cables to make the rpm's in synch.

I did not notice the wavy hatch but I will check it out, the boat will live at the Cigarette Factory so I am sure any small issue will be addressed.

The Pier 57 markings on the boat are all inserts that can be quickly changed, in fact the Top Gun inserts are in a bag in the boat.

Special thanks to Cigarette Racing Team, Mercury Racing, Elton Porter Insurance and Markel Marine, and Pier 57 for making this happen.

I must say I am a huge fan of the 700 package, the power, the drives, the #6 props are all exactly what a true Offshore boat should have.

Offshoreonly will be running this boat in various Poker Runs and other Events around the Country during 2008.

Ron is a character. I'm gonna say NO ONE enjoyed their boat more than him in Key West!!

I was one of the furtunate individuals who was with Ron when he took delivery of the boat. Everyone really enjoyed that boat. It really looked good at the raft up covered in all the hot chicks!

Besides needing a quick exhaust boot replacement in Islamarada and RUNNING OUT OF GAS at night 2 miles off shore; the boat was awesome! Especially in the big water on the way home...Very impressive!

A little learning curve on the Cigs...A half tank of gas is OUT OF GAS!

Oh and we may have run out of gas but we NEVER ran out of beer! How do you keep from running out of beer on a Cig? When asked at the beer store, "How much Delicious Coors Light would you like Sir?" Always reply, "ALL OF IT!"

sellsman11 11-14-2007 03:03 PM

Everytime I tried to catch you guys...you were headed back out!!:ernaehrung004:

I'm glad you guys had a good time. Let me know when you are ready to trade that Sonic.:D

OSO 11-14-2007 03:26 PM

I forgot to add for those interested, thanks to the new Vessel View I was able to monitor fuel consumption.

At 72mph the motors are running little to no boost, 4000 rpm, and swallowing 62 gallons of fuel per hour.

marineclean 11-14-2007 03:32 PM

Looks Great!

Can I touch it. :cheer:

38flatdeck 11-14-2007 03:34 PM
