Default LOTO Best Ride for the $$ ??

Currently have a 29 outlaw with twins and have been looking again... (Seems like we can never be happy . . )

So here it goes . .

28 Pantera - God bad and the ugly? Better ride than our outlaw at loto?

35 Cafe Racer or 31 bullett ?

Older 88 to 89 Formulas 357 sr1 or 38...

Looking to run mid 80's low 90's and not get our intestines kocked loose on big weekends at loto...big a$$ crusier wakes...

Thanks!

Pete

How about a cat instead. Under 30's cat with single or twins will run in the 80's and it'll handle lake chop with no problem. Older 28/30 Elimiminator with black motors should be in the range of the boats you listed.

Any of those your going to need big blower motors to run the speeds you want. How much are you looking to spend??

28 Pantera rides well, but still beats the crap out of you on a busy weekend at LOTO. Probably not a significant difference in ride from your 29 outlaw.

The Cafe or Formulas will ride a lot better. They are real heavy and like was said will take a lot of HP, probably 700HP or more to get consistently above 80mph.

A 28-30 cat will be no comparison in ride to the bigger V's.

It all gonna depend on your budget as what is recommended.

best ride for what you have listed is going to be the 357 formula hands down. Getting it to run 80's is another story. Ive ridden in a 357 down at LOTO for a couple years and never had a bad ride. I currently own a 30' cat and on the busy weekends its get ROUGH... to say the least. I usually head up the lake on those weekends to get away from the slop. Nice thing is the cat will run mid 80's with small power vs those V's are gonna need big power.

i have a 03 38 top gun at LOTO that runs in low 90s and will handle anthing loto has but some of those cruiser wakes you just have to slow down for.

Length is usually better; but need to know your budget first.

It all about the length, so you can disperse those cruiser wakes. I have my 38 Powerquest for sale at the lake and it handles 99% of the wakes just fine. But like "Wild" said, doesn't matter what you have, there are some you just have to slow down for...

Far as power, I have 500EFI's and I can run 80. If you are looking for high 80's , low 90's you are looking at some big power and big money for a V.

For the $$, hard to beat a tri-toon down there. But obviously that is not what you had in mind.
