Anyone interested in boating in Ft. Lauderdale in Jan.
 

My boat is at the Active Thunder Factory, 3 of my friends and I are coming down for a little weekend of fun and sun, anyone want join us on the water, maybe go down to Miami. probably the 2nd weekend in Jan.

<y wife amd I went down to Ft. Lauderdale last January and had a blast. We stayed at the Marriot on 17th and had a slip right behind our hotle room. Florida Powerboat Club has an event schedueld for Jan. 18-20 to Hawks Cay.

we'll be down. My 41 Apache is at American Offshore Marina for the winter.

Sounds great, lets try and get alot of boats, When we get our airline tickets I will let you guys know the exact dates.

This is great, 2 active thunders, 1 cig, 2 apaches, powerplay, sunsation, sounds like alot of hp. Lets make this an event, and keep the boats coming.

powerplay, we will definetaly need a tour guide, I have never been on the ocean, and would love to see as much as possible in the short time we have, miami, the islands, etc. Lets just go and sleep in the boats if we have to. Sean - as long as it floats and runs, lets go.

We are not sure of the date we are coming down but is looks like the second weekend, I will check into the 18th.

Spitfire, I did have Greg broker my older Apache INXS. We go pretty far back. Zen is a trip over there as well.

Yea.......Greg worked with me on my present boat.....he also helped out a little on the previous one too.....had a cold one with em just the other nite..... :cool:

OK we are coming down, still don't know exact dates but it is the weekend of Jan 11th. I am getting the boat in Pompano Beach, then going down to MIAMI. We are staying @ the Mariott, and keeping the boat at there marina. If you are in, email me, or reply with a phone # so we can get in touch and get things lined up. hey, Randy, looks like we'll be running our SeaRay 40 over to Lucaya for New Years. We're going to bring the Apache over as well. Anyone want to hook up, I hear the new casino will be open and we'll have an extra berth or 2 for stragglers. Let me know. The SR ride will take 5-6 hours and the Apache only about an hour and a half. Rebecca will be running the Apache. Dan

I will be there on the 11th also, but can a Cabin Cruiser keep up with all the Go-fast boats = No!!. I would love to go the Islands with all, but depends on how fast you guys plan on running. I can cruise about 36 MPH.

OK, its a done deal, we got our tickets, we arrive in West Palm on Thurs, Jan the 10th @ 9:00pm. We are getting the boat in Pompano beach on Fri. morning and will be ready to run all day, night, and all day Sat. The bummer is that we have to fly out on Sun morning @ 8:00am. That means we need to have the boat back in Pompano Sat night, unless we can think of something else. Please email me if you are in, please leave names and phone numbers, and I will be getting in touch with you for days and times to hook up.

This is going to be great.

The most expense of my trip down there is fuel. Wow, my Duelley eats gas like crazy, then i get to jump in a boat that gets a mile to a Gl!!!!. Ouch. I bet i use 2,000.00 just in fuel on my Vacation. Oh well, only can do this once in a life time. Kurt :eek: :eek:

Just got back from the Virgin Islands. I would love to go but my basketball coaching schedule just won't allow it. I won't be back down to get th boat until late April or early May. Thanks for the invite though.
