He would't wire it,so I sent his deposit back via paypal. Then Bum gives me negitive feedback, said it looked like fraud. The auction terms were clear, he should have never bid. Thanks, Doug

Either that, or meet halfway. Even if you require the shipper to only accept Cash and/or a Money Order, how can the shipper verify that neither is counterfeit? (Albeit, you could request the shipper use a counterfeit pen for bills, but how bright are these guys really?)

I agree PAYPAL is great and fast for some items but with shipping involved any damage and all he has to do is cry to PAYPAL and they say send it back to seller and they refund 100% , alot can happen in shipping i sold a 67 chevelle monies were wired buyer hired DAS to ship car to NJ and called in tears they unloaded it in front of his house and left door open and took the drivers door off loading other cars back on trailer so CHIT happens that does'nt involve us .my .02

Doug may be better off this way ,u could have gotten hosed ! i've had guys wire in excess of 150k on a boat site unseen,no sea trial ,no survey, sent him a video and some pics and boat sat here for 7 weeks without even a phone call and then called and said was very busy needed it for the weekend for a poker run would my son drop it off for 1500.00 and he'd wire more dough .So i do believe if it was meant to be it would of happened

That's a two-way street. Return the favor.

As far as PayPal is concerned, its system works, to a point. The problem is, their protections are almost all oriented towards the buyer, not the seller.

Put a big F U on his feedback!

outriggers 11-20-2007 02:06 PM

What sucks is I had perfect feedback with 100. His feedback was 1 prior to me. I burn him with negitive and he just opens a new account and starts over. Doug
