I think it could have all the name brands, I bet the marine industry would love the exposure. Last years the video game industry earned 13.5 billion dollars, that's allot of people playing video games, and if I were manufacturers I would want a piece of that. If it was done right, realistic like the Forza series I think it would be huge. Also remember what's the average age people buy boats?? In there 30's, the new average age of video gamers is also in there 30's........

Forza and Gran Turismo 4 (my personal favorite) would be great games to base it on.Both are very realisitc and popular

I think there was a loooooong thread about this like 3 or 4 years ago. A guy on here was going to make an offshore racing game and was getting opinions from everyone on what to have in it. I think then he realized it wouldn't be a high selling game and bailed on the idea. It was one of the first threads I ever read on here.

Here's something I found on the web, test your self. My highest top speed on the Trim game was 112mph.

I was the one who pondered the idea a few years ago when I was single and extra time on my hands. Unfortunately nowadays I have very little spare time with family and work that I could never free up enough time to get started. I think it is a great idea and I also think it would sell very well if marketed appropriately. I really wish I could get out of the fast lane of life and devote some time to this.

I remember the old thread and i still think it would be an awesome game. Just not enough of an audience to make it worthwhile to the developers.

I would be cool to make it two player, with one guy working the throttles and trim and the other one driving.
