[QUOTE=customtouch;2349293]GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!! Is this a sample of "Power of the OSO" and the brotherhood of boaters I have heard about???? THE MAN'S BOAT WAS STOLEN!!!! It was posted on here to see if someone might have seen or heard of something to aid in the recovery of it!! We don't need clueless amateur Dick Tracy's trying to do the detectives job!! We need people to keep an eye out for the boat ( or the parts from it ) so we can catch the criminals!!! IS THAT TO MUCH TO ASK!!!!!! Act like it was YOUR boat that got stolen!! For your inquisitive minds 1. There were NO financial problems!! 2. The boat was sitting in a visible place because IT WAS FOR SALE!!!!! It is not normal for me to rant like this, but Dennis is a good friend of mine, and this thread is turning into BULL$HIT!!! Any REAL help would be greatly appreciated!!! Here is a better picture of the boat and motors.

UT---- O--- L@@k what you did now Lond Dong

Absolutely my insurance thru MARKEL states boat must be kept inside a locked bldg ,will be interesting to see if they Biotch about being outside and try to deny. Im sure no one ever expected anything like this to happen as i have pics of LEONS new skater BEYOND REASON parked outside by the fence .

Can you get it run on the local crimestoppers program. With that reward and some local play you'd think someone would remember it. Need to get the word out to as many as possible.

It appears by the press release the 50,000.00 reward is from the insurance / agent.

I think you can rule out repo, or them not covering it for its location..

I hope this reward money gets the guys caught who was responsible for this theft.

Ok, so I am the repo guy and have an "un-official title" of Asset Detective, and if it was my boat....

I would start by going door to door in the area and find out if anyone has surveilance video... Parania has ran rampant in the last few years and you would/will be surprised who may have it. As well talk to the local traffic departments and have them check their videos from the traffic cams in the area. Should give the routes they traveled.

The local PD are way too busy to go any of these routes (generally speaking and especially when there is insurance involved) so doing your own work can go a long way.

I would also contact the local media, radio, tv etc, this would make a great fluff story for them and may help along the way...

Good luck, when they catch the russlers, I hope they allow the owner the 10 minues with them, they deserve!

ps, I know Texans are very proud! So talk to the locals, many will probobly be willing to help!

A truck/boat combo like that cant hide very well!

I've done my best to spread the word to the locals. This will spread like wildfire in Denison.

The word has been sent out in Houston via the TOPPS boating club e-mail. Keeping an eye out - Tommy

This is the fate of 75% of stolen performance boats...Whether inside job or not.

Easy to conceal motors/drives/gauges/misc. parts....Not so easy to coneal a boat. It's all the parts they're after. The hull will be cut up and dumped.

Just ONCE it would be nice to catch one of these thieves. Seems like at least one 200k+ boat is being stolen each year w/ no leads on who stole it. You would think with all the cameras EVERYWHERE they wouldn't have a chance.

Good luck.
