Looks like a nice marina. I will def. be making a trip up there for a weekend! Any good motels within stumbling distance? I may regret not having a cabin.

Not necesarily stumbling distance, 10-15 minute walk at the most. And ya have to pass 2-3 bars and the liquor store to get to the hotel Donovans is a must stop, bar is right on the beach, Ocean side baby! (live music too).

(Marina also has a restaurant, bar, shower and laundry facilities.)

Mirasol motel is up the street, it's nothing to get excited about though.. But if all your looking for is a place to lay your head then it's fine... You also have Ocean Palace, 5 min cab ride away.
