kryptonites are a very sound boat. kirk is a very talented individual. the layup and straightness are impecable.
it is a21 super stretched , widened , and modified. the first boat was raced under the name great bay. the second was called xcellerator. the third was the original typhoon. i rigged about 12 of these boats both as an employer for kryptonite and on my own as he would send the customers over for the rig, in both singlei/o, single o/b or twin outboard.
the "mold" for the 39 HOT ROCK is the other brand similiar to apache( i forget the name). the original plug made for the 27 is still around as it was maid up and laid up by kirk , and his at the time glass guy who is now building predator cats.
he is still around , as is kryptonite. he is iun fact relocating to another facility and setting up shop. it is his passion and will allways be.

Thats the one I was talking about as well. Kirk took that boat back from the dealer that was trying to sell it. I called him about it, but he wanted more than the dealer. It is one cool looking rig. I would paint one up like a Glad.
