Im in the process of finishing up my Motion and I have a set of 575 Sci going in....Now the question is the actual thru hull pipes that bolt onto the stock header...I would like to go with a 5 or 51/2 inch out the back....can it be done and what are the pros and cons...

if you wanted to have 5 in pipes you could have a set of custom tails made that open to 5 or 5.5 but it won't gain you anything. The only reason for big tails is if you are running big tube headers with big sc motors or big cubic inch n/a motors. Other wise your just wasting your money

In your application, stepping up to 5" pipes is not going to give you any performance gains, it would be purely asthetics. I just wanted to make sure you understand that, because it may look great but it will not be cheap. CMI or CP Performance are your best bets. Either one can do it but be prepared to pay. If I had to guess, I would think it would be at least $600-$800 to just step up the tails. Hope this helps, Eddie.
