Wellcraft made a 31 foot Fittipaldi Special
Edition...the original boat had a Mercedes
engine in it...went about 65 mph. There was
one delivered in Newport in 93 with a pair
of 502 Magnums...it was a dark gunnel grey
with a bright orange stripe down the side.
The owner killed himself while jumping wakes
off of Newport...took a nasty spill and then'
had a heart attack. I think Corky R. still
owns the boat...it was running last year.
