Ilmor + arneson. Or if you want a V8, Chief, or the Sterling package from Arneson.

All other posts are good answers, but this is the best answer.

can get slightly used mercury 525/xr for 30-35k/side, puts out 570hp normally asp., will run close to same speed as the 600, great resellability. out here on the west coast you can go with pfaff, he has a great 725efi, and raylar has a super 600 ci, 750hp warrantied motor

FYI, new a Merc 525 is only 25K ish.

That's right, but at the OEM price or the racer price, they are far less. Point is the used prices quoted are not a good deal.

Let's not even go into the breaking the packages apart conversation. There are more ways to skin that cat then there are opinons.

Hey Lost. If memory serves correct (you have been MIA for a while), you have the beautiful blue 39 :) (still my g/f's favorite). Saw it at the Fort Myers Poker Run this year. Correct me if I'm wrong, you have 600's with nxt's? Your package seems very reliable. But why 700's for a 35'.? Dat's a bit of juice for a 35'! BTW - are you comming back down this year? If you don't mind, I'd like to get some picks of my g/f in her matching blue string bikini on the deck of your Cig. :D :D

In that HP range I would have to go with Mercs and their matched drive.

Engines are efficient, under rated and will be on snooze compared to any 700hp N/A mill.

I would think that resale value will more than make up for the extra up front cost's.
Good Luck!

Is that priced without the drive? I would assume it is
