Really?
29 formula w/ twin sbcs in 150-170. Thats f'n rediculous.
28 pantera is a bigger boat than a 27zr.
I know you're not looking used, but there is a 2002 28 single that could be bought for hi 40s. Take it back to pantera for a quick updating, and you'd be in it for another 15, and have a real nice boat! (not thats its not nice as is). It probably doesnt even need 15, but that just my $0.02.

Cool

We went on some rides in 27 ZR at the Donzi Owners Rally this last September. The styling was great...workmanship & design was nice.... but it just didn't excite me. Don't get me wrong...for someone who has little history in this type of hull, it will feel & look great.

To me it felt like a 26... it was just not an inspiring ride... maybe I am so used to getting my ass kicked in the 22 Classic that it just felt too refined? I was not the only one who felt this way. Everyone said it was nice...but might consider something else first.

I wanted to like it...it seems like a natural progression .... from a Classic... but I'll wait... gotta love the Cigs and the Pantera, I would definitely consider a clean used one of either.

Good Luck in the Search... thats the fun part.

I definitly dont want another 26 ZX type of boat, I liked the boat, but it was very boring to drive, Thanks for the info Dr Dan. I was not knocking Pantera at all, I am currently looking at several for sale, if the right Pantera comes along its sold. I am starting to enjoy looking for a boat, as long as it dont drag on past march Thanks everyone.

Ditto. The 28 cockpit and bilge rivals many 30-36ft boats.

I really liked the Bullet. I was really leaning to one of those until I decided to stay with a single for space and speed reasons.

I would agree that the 26ZX is somewhat boring to drive without big power. That is why I am making a few changes to it.

ZXXX is this post directed to me? My Boat went to Florida, and had a 496 Mag Ho. Just wondering?

Sorry, had you confused with someone else. I threw out a quick response without reading it over fully.
