Price Rebuild 525's

What is a reasonable price to rebuild 2 525's. Im sure it varies depending on your area but what is a realistic range?

Depending on the extent of damage, but I just had mine done for a little over 8k, plus removing and installing engine and new headers.

Should your motors be as trouble free as new when they are rebuilt? How many Hours recommended between rebuilds on 525? Should you wait till you have problems with them, or should you rebuild them at certain hours? Common to have a warranty with rebuilt 525's?

Unless you run the chit out of them, I cannot imagine a rebuild before 500 Hours, maybe replace the valve springs around 300. I guess the real question is are you haveing problems with them??

I think only because he's running them in a race boat and for the class they have to be Mercury sealed.
