Hydraulic fittings
I'm in the process of finishing off the rigging of a boat equipped with a 4 ram latham system, and I'm trying to reduce the number of hose ends and fittings inside the transom.
Anyone know if it's possible to buy a T piece with a pair of -8 males, and a single 1/4"npt male. It would make the job so much easier.

You should be able to find that at any local Aeroquip or Parker distributor. You may have to size down from the -8 to 1/4". That's a big drop.

We have a shortage of those in the UK! It is a big drop, but the problem is I have to have -8 to the helm and accross the inner transom because of the 4 rams, the through hull fittings are 1/4 npt, and the ram hoses are -6.

The closest I could find is use a female branch T that has the -8's and a 3/8 npt. Then a reducing nipple from 3/8 to 1/4. Parker 8OTX and 3/8x1/4 FF33S.

Any reason you couldn't go to -6 bulkhead fittings for the thru-hull?
That kind of unnecesary restriction can cause slowed function and increased heat.
I missed that you are in the UK.

Chris, -6 and 1/4 npt is pretty similar. Latham supplied the owner with a kit of parts, but it's incomplete. It's also a weird way of doing it. -8 x 3/8 npt adapters, 3/8 npt female tees, 3/8 npt x -6 adapters, -6 hose end, hose, -6 hose end, -6 x 1/4 npt adapter. all that just to connect from -8 supply to bulkhead fitting. Suppose it bumps up the fittings sales though!

Contact this company, if they don't have it, they can make it.
