HELP, Need info on DKWestern
 

I heard that Darren was hurt, hurt really bad, and I would like to know how to reach his family, I have his cell and he is not answering. I heard he fell and is paralyzed in some way. This is horrible and I hope it is not true. If someone knows his parents or brothers numbers PM me please, I really need to know, Darren is a good friend to me and is on the Board all the time. Lets hope this is not true.

No word yet, it does not look good now.....I have no idea what went wrong but I have never had to try and get ahold of him, I always get a call back in minutes.

I can't get ahold of him either, I'll make a few calls tomorrow and see if I can find out anything. Darren is a super guy! so lets hope for the best.......

not bad info I heard from Darrens neighbor who talked to Darrens mom. Call put into Darrens dad no new info as of yet hope this is a no news is good news thing?

I talked to a close friend of the family tonight , DK parents said that he is in the hospital and that at this time they would like their privacy, but to please keep DK in your prayers.

Sad news hope all works out for DK and his family. We will keep him in our prayers

Yes, we will respect their wishes. Darren will let us know and you can bet I will be dropping everything once I can see him. I say we PIN this, this is a horrible. I am not 100% sure of what happened but the silence is not a good sign. Here is a pic of Darren, Eric and me on my AT. He is a great guy and hot chicks just lunged at him. So lets all pray and hope this is way blown out of proportion. Darren is on the Port side.

He will be in my prayers, I am saddened to hear this he has been a valued member on OSO for quite some time.

Thanks OSO, still no news, I hope to hear from him soon and then we can get the whole story. Thanks for not jumping to conclusions, I hope I am wrong and will be very happy if I am.

I just heard more from a close source. Darren did fall and he did have a Coma, he is awake, in good spirits but is still in ICU. There is no word on what happened or how but he said there is a long recovery ahead. This may be like what Gordo had. So thats what we know now, good news and hopefully gets better as the days go by.

hard to believe this.............:( Darren is a great guy, and as Mitch says quite the stud, good looking, young and very polite. He just bought a home on a canal by Metro Beach and we were looking forward to some great parties there this summer. Since he is young and strong I bet he will be back on his feet, but everyone should keep him in their prayers

hard to believe this Darren is a great guy" Ms Patri....you should read the first sentence of your post, at first I was wondering what you were thinking:D....funny how a small punctuation can turn a sentence around.....but you are right, he has the 33 PP with the 3 egg beaters....Larry, Moe and Curly. He is a great guy, and like you said he is very polite, a real gentleman even at a young age. I would have to say the PP humbled him though, that crazy set up is a nightmare to keep all 3 running, nice thing is it planes on one:D They are all hopped up with race powerheads, short lowers and other goodies. So lets keep the positive energy going and get him ready for summer. It is nice to have a Thread not go South with guessing and pointing fingers. This supposedly happened out of the blue and goes to show you that anything can happen at anytime to anyone.

Hello, This is Darren's brother. He fell at my house and injured his neck. He was fully concious the whole time, no coma. He had a couple surgeries and is in the ICU still. They are getting him ready for Re-Hab. He is getting better everyday, it is a VERY SLOW process and will take a while to get him back to 100%. Please keep your thoughts and prayers with him, we really appreciate it.

I am the ultimate boat whore, My brother obviously has one along with a couple other buddies and my parents. But i am searching hard for this summer.

Wow hard to imagine all this from a fall. Please let him know that his friends from OSO send him their thoughts and prayers.
