Here's a nice CC.
You'll have spare cash for freight and a cleanup.

He should have pictures of what the boat looks like now after the lower units were stolen from it + other things.

If I lived in the Caribbean, I would prefer outboards. It's just easier to clean and maintain outboards in a saltwater environment.

Just my two-cents...

yess you're right Clay

for the outboards, and also the decathlon, that's what i was saying in my first post..

but i consider all offers... below 50,000

a turn key CC with outboard or a roomy sportdeck.. with a great cabin for my 2 meters high.. .. or a 30' cat with a cabin if it's suitable for my place...

are all the boats proposed suitable for saltwater use ?

Mine are 2001 Mercury EFI 250 Saltwater Series so they are made for it. Here is a picture but I am not sure if you will be able to view it without a membership to the site. I remember when I did not have one some pictures in the post did not come up.

What would the cost of two new lower units for that boat be?
If the lower units were stolen, did anything else happen to the boat?

Stepping from the Hydrostream to the 30' Donzi with fresh power will be a fairly slow boat with 7.4's.

How's a 35' Cigarette Mistress with 540ci motors sound? Should 70+ mph. The guy wants $45K for it.

Also, the 38' Top Gun for $55K seems like a GREAT deal.

Brand new the MSRP on a new single lower unit is around $5000. There are used ones out there priced all over the place. Who knows maybe you could buy the stolen ones off the thief that took them.

I do not know if you caught it or not but the trailer is not included in that auction.

The guy listed a phone number in the ad. I would call and ask him a bunch of questions and get some recent pictures.

I might be reading between the lines to much but something seams fishy. Why would the thief take the stupid cabin cushions and leave the expensive stuff? Why would the owner bother to just replace the rear seat cushion? I would think he would slap on a pair of used lower units and try and get the most he could for the boat since it is so new. I would be leary that something might also be wrong with the motors and since it does not have lower units you can not water test the boat.
It might be fine just some things do not add up.
