Thanks Steve. Met a lot of good friends on this site. And Steve's right about the hobby. If it becomes a job, then it just isn't fun anymore. So now I expect to see you at Lake Murray having some fun.

They just bought quite a few car enthusiasts sites recently, including my buddies site and they paid him HANDSOMELY for it.
There's been a bunch of motorcycle forums bought up recently too. I'll just keep on lurking here and see how the place shapes up in a few months.

Tried to read it all, then I realized that people were posting faster than I could read and I figure it won't stop until it gets up to the membership count...................could be one of the longest threads ever.

Congrats Steve. 2008 is going to be a GREEEEAAAAT year. I wish you good luck in your endeavors.

Not sure who said if first, but I agree - this site has revolutionized the industry. Between the magazines and the boat shows, theres a huge gap of knowledge and this is the only place that can provide it. Its the members that make the site and I hope the new owners can recognize that.

Q) Will Steve get custody of Packinair?
Did Packinair get adopted by Beani?
Or did Packinair get put up for adoption?
