Default Need help deciding which boat to buy next!

Right now I am trying to get rid of my first boat (first I've owned) but have been boating all of my life.

I am trying to decide which boat to buy next. I am out on the west coast and go to havasu a bit in the summer, but would like to get more into offshore and have a boat I could participate in SCOPE with. I am looking to spend under 70k and want something good, SOLID, reliable, safe, and fun. I was thinking of something along the lines of a used 32' Fountain with twins or an older Pantera or something like that. What do you think I should buy?

Look at Superboat Y2K. I hear some good things about it.
A fast single engine boat.

70k gives you a lot of options. I had a 28 Pantera and it was great boat. I now have a 32 Active Thunder and its a lot more boat tahn the Pantera was. Quality is similar.

With your budget, I would lean toward a 32 AT, 33 AVS Scarab, 31 Cig Bullet, 33 Powerplay, or 31 Sonic. The 32 Fountain is smaller than all of them and IMO the stern sits too low at rest in the water.

If you want to go Fountain, you could easily jump to a 35 for under or around $70k...it'd be worth the extra for sure...and I'm fairly certain a 35 hull could take anything Havasu could throw at it with aplomb.
