Our 650 Package is based off of a 540. Many customers with 3-400 hours with no issues

Classic thread, dont know how stumbled on this but it just proves, there was peace and harmony 10 years ago, not like today where no one agrees, oh wait, everyone was fighting it out back then too!! My experiences with 540ci were nothing but positive. (One valve failure) but that's part of game.

You want start with a tall deck block to get better rod ratio I think that's what your engine builder didn't like with the standard deck it's hard on the pistons my 3 cent Oyay I had 540s and loved them tall decks
