custom ,I think you would be better off with the 39 nortech. The boat runs well has high sides, big cabin and I think they are more unique thaN THE OTHER 2.I would look closer at them and go to the factory.I think stu Jones from Fpc just had one built.700 and nxt's would be my choice.price wise contact terry sobo maybe he could get you into something?I heard the 37 gtx had a bad ride but who knows about the 39?

Is the GYBN seating done at the factory or is that a custom company??
:D:D:D:D

:cool-smiley-026: "Nutsack Seating" or not....that cig dash blows away the OL dash....the center helm makes the seating look good!

matador 01-29-2008 10:35 PM

guys, whats wrong with you the gtx handsdown,Iwould prefer 700 mercs w/baby#6s nonetheless yhe gtx is a much better build than the cigs more modern and a lot faster which is why we're here.....

BeerMaker 01-30-2008 05:43 AM

Outerlimits without question

The Outerlimits dash/interior looks like a high end sports car. Much more modern. The Cig looks unchanged since the '80s.

But nevermind me, I think DCBs look good!

SkiDoc 01-30-2008 06:07 AM

Jeff, Both boats are awesome. Outerlimits! You know you like to go fast! I'm into the Ilmors. I'm with Beer Maker on the DCB's.

[QUOTE=matador;2425639] gtx is a much better build than the cigs

You were correct except for this statement.

allfiredup 01-30-2008 08:11 AM

The OL is not better built I would say to two are a draw but it is faster & it was me that's the way I would go.

pm203 01-30-2008 09:29 AM

I love the GTX myself, but Customryder should also consider the 39 Quattro as well.

allfiredup 01-30-2008 10:08 AM

I would look at a year or two older 42 legacy or GTX with #6's but custom motors don't bother me at all.

I would like yours, but it will not fit in my boat house..

Ozzie & I were just talking\ thinking about your boat this morning..

Can anyone confirm the ride & handling of the GTX?

PM203 taod painted the gtx Thas was my first question.

allfiredup 01-30-2008 10:39 AM

I luv mine thinkin about a cat is the only reason for listing it. The GTX is the only V I'll buy

BLee 01-30-2008 10:40 AM

Customryder

You'll own that center steer Cigarette forever. A very small percentage of people who are actually going to buy a boat (like yourself) want that type of seating in a Cigarette. There are only like 2-3 of them out there and they were built before the current cockpit came to be. Haven't heard or seen any orders for that layout since.

allfiredup 01-30-2008 10:46 AM

I'm not trying to talk you into mine but I have heard that the #6 drive boats handle a little better & are a little faster or aleast as fast. I don't this to be fact it's just what I've heard.

runafever 01-30-2008 10:55 AM

Outerlimits hands down. That boat is hot!

tblrklakemo 01-30-2008 11:09 AM

Nor-tech 39V...700's & NXT's. Big, deep, boat, with stand up cabin room. I like the at 37 too.

Everybody has a cig, and the OL is sit down with no room to do crap.

PurpleStuff 01-30-2008 11:26 AM

no nut grabbers!!!

Here is the only 39 quattro made (that i know of) with split front bolsters where you dont have to hold on to your buddies nuts!! :cool-smiley-027:

That Outerlimits is good looking! I think I would get tired of sitting down. The Cig will be a better all around user friendly boat. If that is what you are looking for.

I like Nortechs alot and think the 43 is a beautiful boat. However, the 39 seems to be the ugly sister when it comes down to the looks dept.

I couldn't agree more. You could have never gotten me to believe that before having both.
