And taught my youngst daughter, (Christi 7 years old) on how to drive the Seadoo jet boat. She did AWESOME, she even did a couple of donuts! She drove about 4 miles, down to bird island and back. We had a blast!!! It was a little overcast, ~72 degrees, and about 8" of chop. Here's a couple of pics, her life vest is on under my sweatshirt. And yes, I'm wearing the lanyard.

That's about the age when I taught my daughter to drive our jet boat. After she got the hang of it all she wanted to do was go faster. She got her captains licence at age 12 and was driving tour boats in Key West. Just kidding, they asked if any of the kids wanted to drive and she said yes.
