I rode in the back seat before the Long Beach - San Francisco race in 1967 with owner/driver, Bill Cooper. Scared the s**t out of me, but that was no problem, it was self-flushing.....................

Not photoshopped,it's real.They were getting around the minimum length rule with their 20' Formula. Imagine that,a Formula with a beak

It ain't photo shopped and pix of that boat were in every major magazine of the day as well as John Crouse's book.

Extended noses, like steps, were around long before Reggie "invented" them.

that would seem right 20 foot formula + 6 foot beak = 27 fountain.
