I thought Fountain already had a 29 footer:evilb:

Oh, come'on, someone was going to say it.:D

Actually, I think it looks pretty sharp. And I'm not normally a Fountain guy.

Thats funny

bouyhunter 02-09-2008 11:45 AM

That doesn't look like a MYCO under it.

Sorry, I'm just in a mood.
Truthfully, I really think it looks pretty good, I'm sure they'll have one in Miami to check out.
Looking forward to seeing it.

I like the 35 better, Its prob not much diff in price

wananewboat 02-09-2008 12:28 PM

Will you need to get finger printed to get into the Fountain booth this year. It's a kind of a pain to get stoped and give info to look at the boats and then be given to a salesperson that knows less about the boats than you do.

US1 Fountain 02-09-2008 12:38 PM

I'm lov'in it!

The new interior, both cabin and cockpit, and single peice sliding door are outstanding and long over do. Good Job Fountain.

Yep, I told the girl that tried to do my backgound check that I wasn't game. I'd rather go over to the Cig booth and look at better chicks AND boats.

Oh yeah, Cig throws a party too.....:evilb::cool-smiley-026:

Basically same boat. The 35 has a longer engine compartment for the staggered, the 33 is side by side.
Both boats same cabin, 33 has a foot more space in the cockpit.

Anyone know this boat with Shogren down the side of it? I saw it a couple weeks ago down in Florida somewhere.

dykstra 02-09-2008 02:23 PM

matador 02-09-2008 04:27 PM

The 35 with 500s does 85,this one does the same with smaller motors, must be lighter so get ready to jump like crazy unless you're on a lake.

That 33 looks great! I was hoping to see one at the Chicago Boat Show last month. Now I have a good reason to go to Miami. I'll see ya on Friday. It'll be great to get away from the cold and snow..:cool-smiley-011:

The new 33 looks great, the new cabin treatment is really a step up.

BTW are you connected to the Fountain factory?

Saw the 33 in persona yesterday while visiting the factory. Very nice piece, Reggie was sea trialing her himself right up until dark Fri evening. The Silver, Red & Black 35 ICBM tested in the March PB was their too. Colors are very sharp looking on that boat. I'm hearing both will be in Miami next week.

fountainguy214 02-09-2008 11:47 PM

That si a good looking boat!!! Fountain always has some good ideas.

These aren't spi photo's, they are nothing more than free advertising for your dealership.......

Call it what you want.
At least it's a peek at a new boat available, and some info on new things in the market.
I welcome that information, and I wouldn't slam it as an "advertisement".

Somebody pee in your Cheerios this morning?

Back4More 02-10-2008 10:19 AM

New engine covers from Merc? Don't like em...maybe a carbon fiber style one would suit.
Boat is Hot and I love the new cabin.
Not that 85 is slow but will it have a "Blue" motor option?
Scott, post a transom shot since my only FL trip this winter will be Disney.:p

hp500efi 02-10-2008 11:02 AM

Nice boat...I agree about the cowlings...don't like them.

GO4BROKE 02-10-2008 11:10 AM

Of course its a shameless plug.

I like the engine covers. Anything is an improvement over the old ones.
I don't like the paint job, but I like its speed and the upgraded cabin.

New 33

Will post more pics soon. Should be a great piece. Blue motors will be an option but I would suggest jumping to 35 if you do that, not to mention you also get full stagger configuration in 35. I believe the retail market will be set with the 496 like the 35X's.

There will be cowling color options for this boat.

That would be cool if they matched the graphics of the boat...hint, hint.

What speeds are they seeing with the 525's in this one? And are there any plans to do small block motors?
