Chris,
Actually we were not racing the GEICO planes. However we had to wait for them to come in at speed and accelerate quickly ahead of them. I don't know what the top speed of the WWII trainer is but we didn't have a problem playing catch-up with them.
The Callan picture is of the old Tencara. Not fixable. I believe it was sold recently.

Pictures...WOW So many unbelievable pics these past couple of years. Jayboat,Armond,Sharkey, B, IMAX,Rodney....and everyone else. heres a couple that always put me back in the seat.

Wow- you guys are so cool... I'm very flattered-- three of my shots are on this thread and I haven't made a post yet. 
Here's one of my all time favorites- from Ft Myers Beach 2006, that's the Lightnin' Jack's boat in there...
and the long shot of the Peppers boat from post #3... from the same day... talk about carvin a turn.
