I joined a car forum a couple months ago. They have a vendor (that I recently bought some small items from based on the board confidence) that may have disappeared.
He has:
-been in business 2-3 years
-built a reputation for taking care of customers
-reputation for selling cheaper than anyone else
-he mainly drop-ships product from the manufacturer
-lately people have been waiting for orders
-stories of a potential divorce have been mentioned

-2 weeks ago his phone/fax lines were disconnected
-2 weeks ago his website is down
------only message is that he is "on vacation"-----------

Does this sound like anyone we know?????

When I told the story of Trick and pointed out the simialrites I got jumped..."give the guy a chance", "he's always done right by us", "He'll be back, you'll see", "stop bashing good vendors". The fact that I'm a newbie over there doesn't help. One guy in particular really jumped my azz...can't wait to post that HE will be covering all of this vendors debts!!!!!

Seems no amount of warning will influence people until they experience it themselves!!!

Well this explains it all...him and Trick are on vacation together
