I wish these young punks grew up back when I did where your word was your word, you didn't screw people, you paid what you owed, and if you pulled a stunt like this you knew you would take an azz-thumping and you knew you deserved it. Today's mindset seems to be more along the lines of screw everyone, let someone else deal with my problems and debt, and if you touch me I will sue your azz instead of taking it like a man.

From what I hear this punk is being very disrespectful to people who are calling him. These people couldn't care less about being sued. Big mistake.

Ed, this J/O does'nt even have the slightest clue of what that $900 is gonna cost him in the long run. Hope he'll feel that eatin from a straw or a feeding tube was worth the trouble. :hitfan:

Now it's not about the $$$............it's about the principle. :cool-smiley-026:

I've been watching this in the Stolen/Beware Forum, and I'm kind of surprised it isn't over already.
What an A-hole.

This is not a joke.

This should be over tomorrow AM. Lawyer says he has the funds already and will convert it to a cashier's check and have a messenger deliver it directly to me. I'll keep you posted.

Can't thank my OSO family enough for getting this punk to pay up.

YOU PEOPLE ARE THE BEST!!!!!

I think about 20 people get a bite.

I really wanted to buy that bottle of scotch. :)

Ed bent over backwards for me on my last boat survey. He drove all the way across Florida to do it but charged me less than what a local (and substantially less knowledgeable) local surveyor would have. He went over it with a fine-tooth comb and gave me incredible detail. He even convinced me that a sea trial would be a waste of my money. I drove 1200 miles with a check to pick up a boat I'd never seen based on Ed's say-so and had no disappointments.

It's been said that gratitude is the least-deeply felt and most quickly fleeting of all human emotions. Maybe we proved that just a little bit wrong. I think there's alot of people around here who are glad to have Ed around and value not only his services but his contributions to the board.
