We have a softener system and a reverse osmosis from GE for drinking water only. The RO system makes really nice drinking water, comparable to any bottled water.

Culligan RO here also for drinking, cooking and ice maker.

Just replaced my trust old technology Culligan softner with an on demand Aqua System 4 months ago. What a difference! The new one has yet to have used 30# of salt, where as the old one would have gone thru 300# by now.
