Steve's not that big on boats. Paul Allen and Larry Ellison are the only tech guys that I know of who are into Mega yachts. Saw Mr. Allen's Octopus in person while on the bridge of 400+ car Ferry, looked more like a high tech cruise ship over a personnel boat and was near the same size as the boat I was on. Jobs does not have the kind of money it takes to own and operate one of these. That and he's cheap with his money! 
My older Brother was involved with Job's and his NeXT Computer, Inc. deal. The one Jobs tried launching when he was ousted from Apple. Long story short my Brother was developing a database publishing tool for that platform and met with Jobs several times. I only had dinner with him once.
Allen's Yacht Octopus was near the same size as a car ferry like this:
These newer bigger versions are bigger than my Uncles boat! My Uncle is a relief Captain on the BC Ferry boats. Hence how I get onto the bridge.
