Default Cigarette Playboy Color Change ?

I'm not so sure I like this idea...but wanted to see what you guys thought. The color scheme on my boat when it was designed was black and silver. Black sides, with a silver stripe, silver painted drives, tabs swim platform and guage surrounds with a few other silver accents elsewhere. Well, since owning the boat I have changed quite a bit - drives are now black with brushed metal imco lowers, black swim platform and the tabs are now black. I am having the white decks color sanded to get them back to white white, the silver stripe from bow to stern repainted to clean it up, some gel coat and glass work done on small areas etc....
So, I was thinkin...since I've taken a lot of the silver to black...why repaint the stripe the same silver ?
So I thought perhaps making the stripe RED like the #1 in the oval logo...it might add a bit of contrast and look cool. Here are some photochpped pics. The silver stripe first...then the red chopped image.
Not sure I like it too much, but I wanted to see what you guys thought.

If anyone is a Photo Shop pro, pls feel free to work your magic...these are not that great I realize, nor are the pics that were taken with a Blackberry....but you get the idea.

It looks good but you have taken away from the distinct features of the Playboy edition.

That's my thinking as well....kind of detracts from the integrity of the boats original design...
But again, it could be easily taken back to silver if a potential buyer requested...

I think it looks better than the silver. If you dont mind loosing the factory original look, go for it.

Don't like the red! It's a theme boat kind of unique I would cocentrate on making the silver deeper/richer. It ties in more than red ever would.

Hey you asked and yes we all have opinions
