just curious what the market is like

in light of baja/fountain joining forces in a weak market

Just made on offer on a 99...we will see...Made on offer a few weeks ago on a 99 top gun and never heard even a counter so I guess the market is pretty strong for that dealer

A lot of the boats I see in the classifieds have been there a year or more. Spect they will be there a lot longer.

From what I can tell it appears the traffic of late hasn't been to bad. I think the used market is fairly active on product priced to accuratelty reflect the state of the market.

I got one coming. Actually it's been a long time coming. Guy in NJ, finishing a new Avanti, (F'ing slow going though.) new (07) 525's. over 100k. but I started this 3-4 months ago. Market is pretty bad, however.
New boats 250-300K + are ok, since those guys don't care much about the econ.
The trend is getting more HP and keeping the old boat.

Just bought a new boat couple of weeks ago over 200K and sold my current boat over 200K. Loan was a little rough at first but all was good in the end. Banks are holding on to their money like nuns to their virginity!

I just bought a 99 32' Sunsation and its under the 100k mark. I could careless what the economy is doing. I am young and I have a secure job and so does my wife. If something bad happens I will deal with that when it occurs. I am not going to waste my life away planning for rainy days that may never come. Boating for me is a lifestlyle not a hobby!
