I saw that boat in St. Clair one year also!! It showed up all shrinked wrapped and was clean as could be, Looked like a real nice pleasure boat.... Then it went out and spanked the field!!! After the race they wrapped it up again and left.
Someone said they only race once or twice a year.
I was VERY IMPRESSED!!! It was real FAST!!

Fun,
Racing was great for us in 2002-2004. It took me a long time to figure out how to rig a pleasure boat to be competitive. In the early 90's, the SBC ''A" boats used to beat some of us! The turning point for the BBC boats was Bravo drives, high X, Bravo 1 props and getting the bottom right to handle the speed.
For most of 15 years, B Class racing in GLOPRA/LSCORA was great.
Today, we have great weekend hot rod.
