I am defintiely going for the event in August, whatever they end up calling it.

Ditto to what is being said here, but to be a little more specific I would even trim it down to maybe the 7mm to the 22mm with my fav being the 14mm to the 22mm. I have a place at the 19mm on the point and it is perfect. I am within 2 miles of 5-6 bars, party cove, evergreen cove, etc. Downside it is by far the roughest area of the lake but I live for that....:D

Boating season really is April-Oct or Nov but I can tell you it is has been really dead before Memorial Day and and after Labor Day (exception being OSS races) the past few years.
