Help?I need 6 1/2 Speaker mount adapter rings

My speaker holes are to big for the 6 1/2 MB Quarts,It had the Polyplanar http://www.polyplanar.com/# which are a (odd ball size:()There mounted on the panel under the seat,it has carpet on the panels.I'm thinking I need some kind of adapter ring .Here is a pick of a ring I found searching goggle, Does anybody have any suggestions and or where can I buy some adapter rings? Get some ABS plasic and make them. You can use a router to round over the edges.

Mine are ABS looks good.

When i worked for Mobile 1 we did some pretty trick stuff with plexi. Easy to do with a router but takes some time to polish the edges and you can put some LEDs in them for some cool effects.

I had prety much the same problem, except my speakers were to deep. So I made some spacers for mine out of aluminum then had them powder coated.

I used clear plexy, rounded the corner over, polished the edges and stuck black vinyl on the back side to give it deep clear black look. I did step turn the rings ID to fit the speaker almost flush with the front of the plexy so it wouldn't look like it was just placed behind the speaker. A little more custom look to it. Plus I can also change the color of the vinyl if I choose.

How do I cut the ABS with out cracking? I have a jig saw with a fine tooth blade. |
