Default 2008 Boating Season is officially open

Family took the new boat to the island last weekend. First official dip in the water. We bought it about a month ago. Turns lots of head with the twin 300's on a 30 footer. Looking forward to a great summer. Already have some sweet plans set up.
Below are photos at the island, Nate and Audrey playing in the water and the new lift being installed. It's great to be back on the water. Been 4 years since last boat.

Here's the finished lift. Ready for constant use this Summer. Father's boat is hanging in the foreground. He can use mine so his is for sale.

Thank you. the kids are still getting used to the boat. Engines are loud and boat wakesstill spook them. But this hull crosses them like nothing.

Beautiful setup. So what's with you neighbor across the water with the 30' tall boat house? ...looks like enough headroom to stack 2 or 3 high!

Been staring at that for years. He must've had a a huge cabin cruiser years ago and didn't want the cover blocking his water view.

On anotehr note, I saw on the Today Show this morning that many of you are dealing with heavy snow and tornadoes. Hope my post hasn't been anything but encouragement.

Scarab Sport with 300s...that thing oughta down right boogie! A friend of mine has one with 250 Etecs and does at least 65. That would be the center console of choice for me. Congrats!

Was that Shell Island? Do you go there often? I have done alot of boating around Pinellas and will probably be storing my boat there soon so I don't have to trailer so far. It's a pain looking for storage though.

Where did you find the boat? It seems like I have seen it somewhere before.
