Well I used the Leverage Oxidation remover and then the polish on my Fountain yesterday. Both were by far the easiest products I have used and I am so happy with the way the boat turned out, it looks new again. I defintely won't use anything else.

Thanks Donnie for making a truly awesome product!

Seeing how I try to sell leverage to the west coast crowd. I use it on my wifes A4 all the time works great and had no problems.

FYI, this stuff is incredible. My driveway had more shine than my boat did.. The O.R. was amazing. I ended up giving up early and taking it to a pro just because im running out of time but he'll be using the OR to finish it up. The OR works good, its nothing unbelievably amazing or anything but the polish IS.. The OR got the boat looking like it had a good, decent coat of wax on it.. The polish made it look like i just had it recoated with clearcoat and looked brand new! Thanks guys.

Ok got the interior cleaner and conditioner and went to work yesterday. Stuff works great! Looks wet but isn't! Here are some pics. Wish I would have taken some before shots. for some reason it is saying my image files are supported and they are .jpg

danh63 07-05-2008 09:28 AM

not sure why it won;t let me.. Anyway they are on at speedwake.com

Great stuff

Who are you kidding! You never applied any kind of way on anything. The only waxing you've ever done is on your @$#*!

Michael1 07-05-2008 11:52 PM

Let's say you have a boat that has been sitting out for 20 years, and the gel has no shine at all. Would you be better off Leverage Oxidation Remover and Polish, or, is it such a lost cause that you would be better off using something like Vertglass or Poliglow which puts a gloss finish over to top of the oxidized finish?

Hi Michael,

It would be better to do it right the first time. I would try the OR in an area and see if you get the shine back. It all depends on the boat. Some I have to wetsand and most I can just buff out. You want the Oxidation gone not just covered up and showing again in a few short months, so here's a few links that will get you the finish I imagine you're looking for.

I assume if you get too agressive or it has oxidized off a considerable amount of finish, you could end up going through the gel coat. How can you tell if you should stop, before nothing is left?

bring it too a professional getting the oxidation out using the oxidation remover from Leverage. Then it will be much easier for you to maintain from this point forward using the Leverage Polish.

Michael, If you have a high speed buffer hit it with the OR at about 1200-1400 rpm's just DONT push hard and watch the edges. If you need a sample of the Oxidation Remover, feel free to call me and I will send you some. I am in the Los Angeles area or if you feel do not feel confident doing it yourself I can give you a quote. 562.544.4732 Mark

I usually have to buff out my boat with a buffer and rubbing compound then try to protect the new finish. I tried the Leverage for the first time this year and wish I would of had it when I first got the boat. It would still look brand new if that was the case. The stuff works and is easy to use.

Mark, are you sure this number is correct? I called it twice, and there was no outgoing message. I left a voicemail and never heard back either.

Exactly ......the gallons of polish showed up but no SHIRTS :p WTF

Austin 07-29-2008 07:31 AM

Would the polish work well to keep the outdrives shining? I have been using Corrosion Block and it just doesn't shine for long after the boats been in the water a couple of times.

Austin 07-29-2008 03:53 PM

Donny...

What do you recommend for the drives?

Jassman 07-29-2008 04:18 PM

I use it on everything, bezels, glass on the bezels, grab bars, paint, engine parts, drives..etc..the stuff works great..even though the guy's a little strange:party-smiley-004::ernaehrung004:

Austin 07-29-2008 05:51 PM

Thanks Jassman. I guess I should just try it, however, figured I'd see if anyone knew of any great products for the drives. I do really like the Leverage polish for the deck... put it on 2 months ago and there's still a shine. I've been spraying the drives with corrosion block but the shine only lasts for a few days. I'll see what the leverage does.

aquaforce 06-19-2014 11:06 AM

OK. I dug up this old thread to get feedback after all these years. Are things still great with leverage? Any fail stories or issues?

I'm thinking of going the leverage route but wanted to hear how it has done for those who have used it over the long haul.
TIA

I'm a little slow lately on polishing, but it's worked well for me.

troper 06-19-2014 03:22 PM

Going on 5 years and still shines and cleans up great.

flenner 06-19-2014 08:40 PM

I still use it. I give the boat a good waxing at the beginning of the season and then use Leverage three more times threw out the season.

newfountainguy 06-19-2014 09:22 PM

Where can I buy this product, can't find there website.

aquaforce 07-08-2014 08:27 PM

Thanks for the responses. I think I am going to pull the trigger and go for Leverage.

It's showing up here, but I haven't tried to order it: http://jrmarinesupply.com/

It appears MWBP is still selling it: http://midwestboatparty.com/shop2/ca...id_category=13

I ordered a gallon of the spider wax from the Midwest boat party guy a few months ago to replenish my supply. Fast and easy.

I still use the product to this day.

Still use it and just got 2 bottles from a friend that sold his boat. Really great stuff.
