Can you quote?

Sure can. If you will call my office at 800-801-6382 and talk to Charles or you can send me an email address to [email protected], I'll email you back a quote. How soon will you be moving? I had an empty 7 axle in Atlanta yesterday.

Also I need to move about 4 pieces from Gainesville Ga to Columbia SC what will I need for SC as far as permitting? I will be under 12' over 100k on 6 axles plus steer

SC will let you gross 90,000 and be up to 12' wide without a permit on construction equipment, farm equipment, forestry equipment. After that, you have to have a permit. They allow 110,000 on 6 axles, 130,000 on 7 axles, and anything over 7 axles is a superload, but they basically allow 20,000 pounds per axle on anything over 7 including the steer axle, so you can get 160,000 on 8 if you can scale 20,000 on the steer, and so on. You can deal direct with the state with a credit card or go through the permit services. I use Permit America on every state that I don't deal direct with, but about all of them have online arrangements anymore and when you get as many permits as we do, it's easier to deal direct online, whereas when it was all voice, it was easier to use a permit service. WWW.PermitAmerican.com is the web address for Permit America.

Cat dealer no, but have more equipment than you have had screen names.
I figured a while ago there is no money in a small boat manufacturer and stuck with what I know. I don't need to justify anything I do because my screen name has stayed the same and you are the only one on the board I have a problem with. FYI the Apache is too much boat for my current boating needs and the Scarab is perfect.

So now that I have answered all of your questions you can relax and be thinking about your next screen name.
