CAT with Verado's?

I believe it's around 660 lbs. They don't have a highspeed gearcase either. You can't surface them.

So are the Verados ment more for the CC setups?

Yup. That's all I've seen them on. I rig all the cats I sell with the 300XS motors.

Didn't someone build a 38 Awesome Cat with triple 275 verado's? If I remember it was yellow with a panther painted on the side? How did that one perfrom?

there was a yellow cat with a black cat on the side, that did have trip outboards. Thought i read something here about the owners though, I don't remember what the size or make was.

when they come out in october , they will be available with a sportmaster gearcase that can be surfaced.

I think a 28 is too small the cg would be off. i'm thinking of doing one with a 368 skater or a cut down 38 doug wright to better handle the weight

I see you are spinning those props in. What are the handling characteristics on that setup spinning out? How about other boats you've rigged?
