These are the real deal, absolutely blows the optima away. twics as many cca. It is a bit heavy, probably 20-25 lbs a piece. But if that is not an issue. I can garantee it can beat anybodys out there. Just got three new ones for my boat.

I wont have any more battery issues.

They are a bit pricey though.

Try to find a local dealer through their website. It will say you the shipping, maybe.

To be honest I didnt find this out, the guy rigging my boat hooked me up. After seeing what they could do and hearing how they worked he said he wont use anything else . I know of three or four guys on here using them and pound for pound they are the best you can buy.

I always used the Optima blues, but like b717 said i came across these odysseys last yr & the specs put optima to shame. will try them when we get next boat.

I prefer theTrojan AGM's over the Optima's. Optima has higher CCA and CA but the reserve on the Trojan is much higher 175 vs 100. (it will power the stereo much longer).

You are absolutely right, the Odyssey is the best. I have had to replace at least one of my two Optima Blue Tops every season. When they die this year, and at least one will, I am going to the Odyssey x 2!!

I have used the Odyssey Batteries in my race cars, support vehicles and they are the best. They are very dependable i adverse conditions.

The BEST but getting hard to find. The Military is buying them all up.

So, looks like PC1500 - 34M is what you would use. Anyone know the price of these? Summit does not show this model but the one they do show is $260.

I know this isn't the theme of this post, but I just buy Wally World's batteries and replace them every 3 years. I have a dedicated stereo optima battery that I've had to replace every couple of years.

Young Performance Marine is a dealer. I run them in both of my boats. The Optima's are JUNK.
