Default HELP.... need advise from you gurus ..

: Quesyion ...! ! What would be the real speed ...

For a Cigarette 35 Cafe Racer weighing 5511 Lbs , less engines and drives ,

Now with a pair of 502ci / 415bhp year 2000.. with Bravo 1 drives , i guess they weigh 2600 Lbs both of them ,

Total weigh of both & fuel being 8500 Lbs

what propellers would you take in consideration to have a good speed .... with this set up . !

is it possible to reach 70mph ???..: Whatever:

Thanks

Clyde

How are you coming up with your weight? I think a Cafe fully rigged is going to weigh a lot more then that.

Default RE: i weighed the boat when i bought it

i have come up with the idea for the weight ,,,,,,,,,,because i have a 35 cafe racer 1987 model , and i weighed it less angines drives and empty from fuel ...........but with all other amenties inside ..and the weight was 5511Lbs.

So i said with the 502s weighing another2640Lbs plus 500Lbs of fuel The total weight of the boat would be

Approx. 8500Lbs..

Regarding the 66mph , target , ! !

would it be possible with extension boxes , stainlesssteel tail pipes exhaust and good props possible

to reach the 70mph barrier !!!!

Unfortunately You aren't going to see 70 with 415's in a full pleasure Cafe to save your life. I too am surprised about that weight considering the attached.
