( hold steering wheel, pull drive back and forth)
a loose or worn tiller arm will make the boat wander when you don't expect

also, if you cut across a wake at 45 deg angle, the waves cancel out. try it.

Sounds to me like you need to hit wakes straighter on.

yup, point and Shoot, dont roll over the top, 45* more or less, and throttle thru, not too much throttle just enough to make it thru without getting too much air.
