Hatch Shocks

The little shocks that hold the hatch up on my boat are shot. Who sells them? Mine is a manual lift hatch. Thanks

You should stay out of there anyway...

I bought some from west marine. They have a store here in town. They may have them in stock, or you may have to order them. I'd take your old ones in there and see what they can do.

So in essence, what you're saying is, you have trouble "keeping it up"?:evilb:

If they are just the small black gas charged shocks, then any autozone or napa has them.

For about $100-125 more you may want to consider an electric actuator.

The hatch on that canoe probably only weighs like 3lbs.

I would be careful. If you put a real hatch-ram on it may shoot the hatch across the lake. :p
