At my marina, the small stuff is not selling. The 24' and up size range is having traffic though . I had 3 people yesterday who started the conversation by saying, " the economy must suck for boat sales" . I think they were just setting me up for low ball bids.

We sell Malibu Fountain and Cobalt Here that coment every day I redirect and say for the amount of fuel we use boating the cost is not that bad, say you use 1000 gals a year and you used 3000 dollars last year this year it is up 1000 dollars but the time with your family and friends is worth it .. if you were on vaca to florida and the airline tickets for your trip went up a grand would you cancel your vacation the answer I get is usualy no.. now back to your boat.....

water trial for the cafe is tomorrow. assuming all goes well, we complete the purchase next week. :D

If I could sell mine, I'd buy a new one tomorrow.

I bought a 32' Sunsation in mid March. I have a buddy looking to sell his 25 OL and upgrade to a 32' as well.

How about new boat sales? I heard that some manufacturers have not sold a single boat yet this year. Is this true?

Had mine built by Revolution Performance Marine picked it up last Thursday...and burned about 400 bucks of gas:cool-smiley-027: Steve @ RPM is building two for a guy in Norway...where gas is in the 7 to 8 dollar range:hitfan: we are lucky.

This is my situation exactly..... There are some great deals to be had out there right now. Two boats I was very interested in sold in the last 30 days after significant price reductions the boats sold within days.

I tried to buy, but the banks were not friendly to me. They couldn't give me a good reason, they just kept saying no. Oh well, I love my 24, so I'm still happy. Besides, since I won't be selling it, I get to take advantage of the new power and all of the other goodies I put on it this year! Maybe next year or year after the banks will smile on me!

Been looking all winter cant find the right one in are price range. Anyone know of a fountain sport cruiser for around $60k.

hate to sound like gloom & doom but i think the party is over for all but the wealthy and the diehards. just look at oso. this place is dead compared to 5 years ago. even the founder (Jeffrey) has gotten out as well as Steve. i have heard the only boats selling at loto are pontoons......

I should have my 25 Outlaw sold on Monday, then I can start looking at 33 - 38.

Yes new boats are selling, however the smaller ones are selling slower. Yes Tritoons are selling very well, go figure. As for banks they are being allot more strick on lending money, I had two 30' boat deals fall through because bank would not lend the money to them in last 30 days??

The Baja dealer here on LKN is getting out of the brand and said all the go fast dealers around here are struggling. He didn't sell one Baja all of '07. They sell Monteray and toons and he says they are selling good.

My friend John sold his Silverton in January, turned it over for another Carver and flipped it as well. I don't know what he will have this summer but someone is forking over for big dollar craft?
Neptunis has two boats at the dock, one in the water getting outfitted. Anyone have about 3 million bucks to spare?:D
