So true about the 46,s. Although, I don't think the 39 GTX is OL's best boat from what I have read and heard. And, I believe the 39 GTX has been discontinued. At this point, I would have to give the slight edge to Cigarette when it comes to the 39. Either way, they are both boats I would be proud to own.
I agree with this statement...The 39 Cig has a totally different ride...vs the 39 OL which is more of a drivers boat. I'm not a fan of the extremely stiff epoxy laden rides. Fit and finish is the same, both high quality boats. Now..Take a look a 39 Nor-Tech. Speed will be around the same as the Cig, 2.5 longer, wider, more cockpit area and way more cabin area and height..great ride, just as good quality as boats mentioned above with a different edgy look to it..
Drive all 3 boats back to back (Fast boats .com) and you will see what I'm talking about......ALSO if you get a chance another excellent boat to check out is a used 38 PP.
As to the 46 Cig and OL..I will take hands down the 46 OL. Best boat in it's class...unfortunately I would sacrifice 5-7mph or what ever the actual speed would be for a softer riding boat.
Good Luck in which ever boat you get..keep us informed. Jeff

Both boats are completely different. I know the 39 GTX was owned by Jim Wiley who also owned XXX and it was maintained well. I have seen it run over 110 and it looked awesome. That being said, I agree with everyone else. The Cig will ride better but slower and give you more cockpit and cabin room. The OL runs flatter and stiffer but faster but has less room, more of a poker run boat.
Apples and Oranges really but both are real nice.
