Reggie's Mom passed away
#13
Sorry Reggie for your loss. Even though she lived a long and probably wonderful life, the loss of your mother is difficult. I think I can safely speak for the whole offshore community when I say that without your involvement in the sport, it would not be where it is today. I am sure that your mother was very proud of your achievements and it is nice to hear how much you cared for her.
My condolences to the whole Fountain family.

I read Ron's post with great sadness this morning.
Reggie and Miss Lucille opened their home to Cathy and I a number of times and treated us with unparalleled kindness.
Reggie was extremely devoted to his Mom and always quite proud of her. She was a "Southern Belle" in every meaning of the word.
We are very sorry for the loss of a wonderful woman.

When I visited Reggies house several years ago during the Washington race, his Mom was the one who greeted me at the door. She exuded grace and charm and that magical Southern hospitality from a bygone era. A beautiful woman who will be missed by all. Nothing can replace her, but the memories will linger forever.... Our thoughts and prayers are with the Fountain family. Stan and Maria
