Attention Racers !! New details regarding the Don Aronow memorial ocean race tonight .
We are getting alot of new entrys.Raceboats and performance powerboats too !Some older and some newer !A great mix of cats & vees, .
WE have agreed to group the similar boats for individual starts with 10 -15 second,s between each boat passing the start boat !
Now everyone will be able to pace themselves with similar boats for the race from Haulover cut to Bimini & back past the Start/finish boat .Each boat will be electronically timed .All boats can get a copy of there recorded times .
The "WINNERS " of each class will be able to Dispaly there "Checkered Flag "while being Police escorted in a winners boat parade around the Sunny Isles Beach city and back to Kick start the "Race Village Party " in the pits

Can anybody comment on insurance?

What would you like to know. The race will have insurance. Your boat policy will or may not cover you if you participate. Some insurance companies are issued one day riders at cost of course.
