as the name says...I have a Scarab-III..AN 1983 TO BE EXACT.i BOUGHT IT 3 YEARS AGO .. Love it ..lots or room great ride in the rough.. I paid 30k, but it already had new 502's w/ stainless marine exaust, intakes/carbs, ignition, mufflers, new gauges ,gps , zero efforts, windshild,custom paint,extra props,All saftey equip and kick ass tunes w/cd changer. alum. platform.look in the readers boats thread for pic (thanks Sharkey)...my boat was surveyed 12k over purchase price!!!! IF your serious get it surveyed and beat em down on the price!!!

It aint easy, bein cheesy.
seriously... its ALOT of work to keep it up. In fact, this summer, Im gonna have to redo ALL the outside teak.
Also... althought he picture doesnt show it... the paint is so clean, you can smile and see the cracks in your teeth in the reflections.
Does have a ton of spider cracks too...
but... it still runs a solid 68MPH...
You should see the look I get when I pass a 2002 running only 454 stock... with a 22 year old boat I paid 25k for!

Nickslick.....I've been meaning to tell ya, that your boat is great looking!! I like the lines, and just like working on some of the older boats. Just like mine, it looks just like the old Boating Magazine adds, inside and out. Think its like a classic car, some of them will always look nice, and, are different............Bob
