Boat ran great except for getting hot( need new seawater pumps), I will have the new pumps installed this weekend, it did run 82 mph on the speedo, but I was not trying to run it hard:cool-smiley-011:, here are some pics

I'ld been following the thread & you have done an outstanding job on the Apache. Congratulations!

I have completely restored a few ford trucks and can tell you there is a ton of work that goes into a project like that. Just to be focused & driven enough to do the work is something that most will never experience. Not to mention the cost to it right.

I don't think I could part with it.

Wow, I really hope you don't sell it. I'd hate to pour that much blood, sweat and tears into it and sell it. I think you'll miss out on a ton of fun.

I dont think I will sell it, I will keep the boat, and run it, I might buy another boat ( cigarette 30 mystique). The motors are Cobra 650 HP 461 C.I. 454 Big Blocks, the speed #'s were from the speedo, not GPS, I had alot left, but the motors got hot and I shut it down, I will have some GPS #'s this weekend!!!!

KEEP the boat- take your time and fix it up the way you want to for next summer! IF you sell it, it will be hard to replace this rare boat. Best of luck!

I had mine for 10yrs and had just bought a back up and they stole them when they stole the carb and drive/steering and other chit last year thats the only trouble I had in ten years or 11 yeah it was a 1995 box new one was a 06, stolen march of 07.:mad::mad: and still not in the water.

Well, my ride tonight was not the best, it did not overheat, but I did blow both motors, the right motor blew the crank seals, and has a rod knock, and the left motor broke the timing chain!!!!!!!!!, I guess I am getting new motors!!!!!:mad:
