I have NO intention of selling my boat though.
I just have a long list of things I need to get done, and a small checkbook, as well as a full day planner (I don't actually use one, but you know what I mean). And yeah, my energy level at the end of the day is nil.
I work on it as I have time/money/energy.
Everybody I know is asking me when I'm gonna splash it.
My answer is simple - "When it's ready". I'm sure I won't get everything done that I want done before it sees the water, but I'll know when I'm ready to launch. And everything else that needs done (in my mind) will get done as I have the time/money/energy.
You're boat and my boat are both ones that don't come for sale very often, and go quick when they do. And there is always somebody looking for one of these. The guys in Europe are buying these types of rigs left and right now.
Hold on to it, enjoy it, and finish it as time allows.

I was in the same position, I knew it was going to take me at least 2 years to do mine(actually took 3+), what I would do when I got that feeling is I would step away for a month, and do something else, like work on the house, or go racing. At the end of that month, I would bum a ride from a friend on a boat, and get myself psyched to get back to work on the boat. The only advice I can give to all is "Take your time, and enjoy the working on the boat as much as when you actually get to use it" I know your seasons are shorter, but that gives ya more time to get her right next winter, if she can be put together enough for this summer, then do it, and finish the major work next winter.

Well I decided to try to sell the boat, i want to enjoy my summer and not work on the boat, I will be listing it in the classifieds and other sites. I just dont have time to finish it, or the desire.

That's a great looking boat! Also been following along in your painting pics. I'm not sure sure I could keep working on it knowing it was to sell it. But I get attached to my stuff. I guess if you don't have the desire, then you are probably right to sell.
Good Luck, someone will get a nice ride!

I found out today that my motors were built by C & G Marine, in Miami, FL. Does anyone have any info on C & G marine, are they still in business. They are 461 C.I. Big Blocks, with Team G intakes, Dominator carbs and Ported heads, with roller rockers.

Yep, I owe you the kick in the goobies.:D
It's, a badazz boat, and you're so close.
But, if you don't have the desire, you are right in turning it over to someone that does.
Someone is going to get a helluva boat and minimal to put it back together. I hope it all works out for ya.

I just can't beleive this :( And you are selling at a time when I just can't jump on it.:angry-smiley-038: Good luck I am sure it will go quick and I hope you can get the $$s back. Dammmmm

Well both motors are in great cond. I had two loose roller rockers on the right motor( the ticking noise), I will have them back together this week and running by Thursday's, I am still undicided if I am going to sell it. I thought there was major motor work to be done, I guess I was wrong. From what I have found out each motor makes around 680 HP, I will get them running this week and have some pics, the new gauges and throttles are on the way!!!!!!!
