Sharkey, I was on that job for a short period, then got sent to a pipeline job.......25 years ago? Where the hell does time go?
That inlet can really get rockin and rollin! Glad to see that Dolo sea armor is still intact.

Was told that they reported 90 to 100 mph winds on L.B.I so I guess I got lucky would have put it on the trailer Sunday but we usually don't get these this late.Just glad there were not a lot of boats in yet at my marina this could have been really bad
Tim: Is your boat on a lift near Southwick Marina?? We are missing a couple snaps on the front of our cover from the ride home from Key West...luckly the wind was blowing up the lagoon and to the back of the boat. The only problem all the water stayed in the lagoon and on the afternoon high tide the big creek met our lagoon. It is only the 2nd time since I lived here in LEH that I saw the creek and the lagoon meet in front of my house. We had a piling bend over from the wind and twisted the floater and our ramp came detacted from our deck, luckly got my neighbor to help me move our little boat to there dock, so I didn't loose the boat too against a bulkhead for a storm drain. So just some minor things to fix but all is well. Hope to see you out there this summer. Doris

PS: The race boat is almost ready to go and we plan on being in Ocean City for the race May 30 - June 1st, you going down??

Unhappy Bay Head 2010

Not even high tide yet...

Rocks never before seen and the pilings are from a boardwalk that existed in 1963.

Bay Head is done !!!

Tim,

I spent most of my life in NJ at the shore.

Any more Bay head 'damage' shots?

How did Point Pleasant beach do?
